ABOUT MATT.
When it comes to justice, it’s about fairness.
Speaking for those who can’t.
And doing the right thing.
Working by day in banking and attending law school at night, Matt was an eyewitness on September 11 to the horrors of that fateful morning as planes struck the World Trade Center towers next to his office. And in an instant, Matt knew his life’s work would focus on serving others. The father of four children, Matt cares deeply about our schools and a child’s success. As a Chesapeake councilman, he’s worked to help create jobs, keep a tight rein on our city’s finances, and ensure that ours is a city where everyone will feel safe and secure. Guided by faith and a commitment to serve without fear or favor, Matt is the right choice for Chesapeake’s next Commonwealth’s Attorney.
